BONAGO expands its portfolio in the voucher segment with daydreams
Since June 2023, daydreams, a company of the BurdaDirect Group, has become part of the BONAGO Incentive Marketing Group. With this acquisition, the portfolio of the Munich-based reward expert expands to include incentives such as hotel vouchers and hotel subscription cards, as well as a Europe-wide distribution.
Munich, July 2023. In June 2023, the BONAGO Incentive Marketing Group acquired daydreams (www.daydreams.com), a subsidiary of the BurdaDirect Group. With this strategic acquisition, BONAGO expands its portfolio in the field of hotel vouchers, continuing its success story as a reward expert with versatile solutions for marketing and HR.
daydreams is Europe's leading provider of short breaks through cooperative and cross-media marketing using voucher solutions, making it an ideal complement to BONAGO's offering. The company has over 30 years of experience and collaborates with around 2,000 partner hotels across Europe. The daydreams group includes two companies: freedreams GmbH, the licensee for hotel vouchers and hotel voucher cards in seven European countries, and FTM GmbH & Co. KG, the licensee for the daydreams brand in Germany. With this acquisition, BONAGO can now expand its scope as a voucher provider beyond Germany to a European level and enter the B2C segment.
Hotel vouchers fulfill vacation dreams and are highly flexible
Daydreams' offerings include two voucher models available in their online shop. Customers can choose between a hotel voucher (three nights for two people) and the DreamCard, which includes a one-year membership in the short breakers club with unlimited overnight stays for two people, or alternatively, for four people.
With the acquisition of daydreams, BONAGO strengthens its position as a leading provider of reward solutions and simultaneously expands its network within the European incentive community. Mark Gregg, CEO of BONAGO and renowned voucher expert, also assumes the position of Managing Director at daydreams and freedreams and will further develop the company with his many years of experience in this field and his background in tourism. New addition to the portfolio: a short break solution for employees

Therefore, a new Employee Short Break Card is planned, which will be valid throughout the year. This allows employers to motivate their key performers in the workplace in a highly individual manner, thus strengthening the bond with the company in a sustainable way.
